Negative 8 Film Festival

Great short films are rejected all the time from festivals. We're betting one of these great works of art was yours. Submit it to Negative 8 because we want to see it and screen it. This is another chance, maybe even the best chance, to show off your once rejected vision (or maybe it was multiple rejections. Whose counting?) That's why we started N8FF and How it will come to be is through you believing in the work you've produced..

Obviously, we can't select every film that's selected but we've made N8FF about much more than screenings and awards-it's about improving our film community as a whole. Improving is difficult but it's extra challenging when the only feedback is "thank you for your submission, unfortunately there wasn't room in our festival. Good luck next year." That's polite but not helpful. N8FF is committed to giving you our honest reaction and feedback to your film project even if it's not selected. .
